ZABS Place, a non-profit thrift boutique in Matthews, NC is looking to hire courteous service oriented individuals to pickup furniture donations and/or deliver furniture purchases. This position is 1 day/week and has scheduling flexibility to work around your existing schedule. Ability to lift heavy things is a requirement. Responsibilities Drive vehicle to pickup donated furniture. Drive vehicle to deliver purchased furniture to ZABS customers. Navigate a variety of routes throughout the city while adhering to a time schedule. Prepare furniture, carefully load and deliver furniture. Coordinate with Warehouse Manager. Complete logs and reports. Qualifications Valid Driver's License Clean background check & driving record Experience driving cargo van or small truck (driver only) Punctuality and reliability Our ideal candidate has Customer service experience Shows respect and understanding while adhering to organization standards Self-motivation and initiative and is hard-working even when not under direct supervision A great space concept and can problem-solve to maneuver furniture in tight spaces
