Looking for an experienced mover with reliable transportation to work on a team with others. The day generally starts at the warehouse, loading the truck and then delivering to a home to place furniture, art and rugs under the direction of a designer. Another aspect of the job is packing the furniture, artwork and accessories from a house, returning them to the warehouse and unloading onto shelves. The teams start at 8:00am and ending times vary. Weekly hours can vary from 15- 30. Responsibilities Safely load and unload furniture using appropriate equipment such as dollies Operate box trucks and commercial vehicles across designated routes Deliver furniture to residential or commercial locations while ensuring items are handled carefully to prevent damage Load and secure cargo efficiently to optimize space and maintain safety during transit Assist with warehouse organization, including moving inventory within storage areas using heavy lifting techniques and equipment Maintain accurate delivery logs and vehicle inspection reports Communicate professionally with customers when delivering items, and address any special instructions or concerns Qualifications Proven experience as a truck driver, and mover with a focus on customer service Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor safely and effectively Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks is a plus Knowledge of route driving, load & unload procedures, and traffic regulations Strong physical stamina to handle long periods of standing, lifting heavy items, and moving furniture repeatedly Excellent communication skills to interact courteously with customers and team members This role offers an energetic environment where your skills in driving and moving come together to create a seamless customer experience.
