In this role, you'll assist with loading and unloading items, operating various trucks, and ensuring efficient waste management. Your proactive attitude and strong work ethic will help create a positive environment for both clients and team members. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop hands-on skills in heavy lifting, vehicle operation, and customer service while working outdoors in a fast-paced setting. Duties Assist with loading and unloading junk, furniture, and moving items safely and efficiently Operate commercial trucks such as front loader, rear loader, roll-off, and garbage trucks in compliance with all safety regulations Follow traffic laws, DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, and state transportation rules during route driving Load and unload materials using manual techniques or mechanical equipment like front-end loaders or roll-off trucks Maintain safety protocols by adhering to hazardous materials regulations and hazard awareness standards Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients during pickups and drop-offs Conduct routine vehicle inspections for mechanical issues and report maintenance needs promptly Skills Experience operating front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, roll-off trucks, or garbage trucks is highly desirable Strong knowledge of heavy lifting techniques and manual handling safety procedures Familiarity with traffic laws, DOT regulations, air brake systems, and commercial driving standards Mechanical knowledge to identify basic vehicle issues and assist with maintenance tasks Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles confidently over routes while adhering to safety protocols Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions with a focus on safety and efficiency Excellent customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients during service appointments Join us if you're ready to bring your energy to a vital role that keeps communities clean and moving forward!
