  • 1099) to support our remote operations team.
This is a non-employee contractor role; inspectors operate independently and are responsible for managing their own taxes, insurance, and business expenses. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and especially encourage women to apply. This role is best suited for someone who is highly observant, organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently. You will act as the eyes and ears of the company, providing clear, accurate updates on site conditions through photos and written reports while also helping ensure the property remains clean, safe, and well maintained. Cleaning and overall site appearance are key parts of this role. At nearly every site visit, some level of cleaning or property upkeep will be expected. Key Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections of storage facilities Take clear, detailed photos of site conditions and units Write accurate, thorough notes and reports Verify unit status (vacant, occupied, overlocked, auction, etc.) Identify and report maintenance issues or safety concerns Confirm completion of vendor or maintenance work Complete assigned work orders fully and on time Perform cleaning tasks during each site visit to maintain a clean, safe, and professional appearance of the property Remove debris, sweep common areas, and address general site cleanliness needs Perform light-duty maintenance tasks such as minor fixes and lock work
