Responsibilities Safely load and unload items using proper manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies Pack belongings securely to prevent damage during transit, following safe lifting practices and weight handling guidelines Operate various vehicles including box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles for delivery purposes while adhering to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Assist with warehouse operations by organizing inventory, preparing items for shipment, and maintaining a clean workspace Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring accurate placement of goods for timely deliveries Drive route vehicles confidently, following planned routes and schedules while prioritizing safety on the road Communicate professionally with customers during delivery or pickup, providing excellent customer service experiences Skills Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is highly preferred Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or experience with commercial truck driving is advantageous Experience operating box trucks, vans, or other delivery vehicles with manual transmission is desirable Knowledge of safe lifting practices, heavy lifting techniques, and weight handling in the workplace Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and carts safely and efficiently Strong driving skills with adherence to traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safety protocols Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude during interactions with clients Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation or communication purposes Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks including lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading heavy or bulky items Join us in delivering exceptional service through energetic teamwork!
