In this energetic role, you will assist with the safe and efficient loading, unloading, and transportation of goods, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Responsibilities Assist with loading and unloading trucks using equipment such as pallet jacks, clamp trucks, forklifts, cranes, and other heavy machinery. Support order picking processes utilizing RF scanners and warehouse management systems to ensure accurate shipments. Help organize warehouse inventory through proper stacking, palletizing, and materials handling techniques. Collaborate with team members to safely load and unload shipments, ensuring adherence to OSHA safety standards. Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment issues and maintain safety protocols during heavy lifting tasks. Participate in shipping & receiving activities, including verifying incoming goods and preparing outgoing shipments. Support warehouse supervisors in maintaining a clean, organized workspace conducive to efficient operations. Skills Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or construction environments. Familiarity with order picker operations, forklift driving, crane operation, clamp truck handling, and pallet jack use. Strong understanding of heavy equipment operation combined with mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and OSHA safety standards. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper technique. Knowledge of materials handling procedures including load & unload processes. Prior warehouse supervisor or team lead experience is a plus for understanding workflow coordination.
