FURNITURE
DELIVERY / MOVING HELPERS
Let's Get Moving NY is seeking motivated, dependable, and hardworking individuals to assist with furniture deliveries, residential moves, commercial moves, and household goods transportation throughout New York and surrounding areas.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Load and unload furniture, household goods, and equipment safely. Assist drivers with furniture deliveries and moving services. Wrap, pad, and protect customer belongings from damage. Lift, carry, and maneuver heavy furniture safely. Assemble and disassemble furniture when necessary. Deliver furniture to customers' homes and businesses in a professional manner. Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude. Provide excellent customer service at all times. Follow company safety procedures and moving protocols.
REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift 75+ pounds repeatedly throughout the day. Reliable transportation to job sites or meeting locations. Strong work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team. Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively. Furniture delivery or moving experience is preferred but not required. Must be punctual, dependable, and professional. Must be willing to travel Over the Road (OTR), as some furniture delivery and moving assignments require travel to other states along the East Coast. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends when needed.
