Duties Safely load and unload household or commercial items using appropriate equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary Pack belongings securely to prevent damage during transit, utilizing proper wrapping and boxing techniques Assist with route driving as needed, including delivery driver responsibilities for local moves or deliveries Use manual transmission trucks (box trucks) to transport items efficiently between locations Load items onto trucks carefully, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure placement for safe transport Unload items at the destination, verifying inventory against packing lists or delivery receipts Maintain a clean and organized workspace during packing and loading processes, adhering to safety protocols at all times Requirements Prior experience in warehouse operations, moving services, or delivery driving preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods; physical stamina is essential Experience operating equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus but not mandatory—training can be provided Valid driver's license with experience driving box trucks or drivers preferred; commercial driving experience is advantageous Strong customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients during pickups and deliveries Knowledge of route driving, load & unload procedures, and safety regulations related to moving and transportation Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and work efficiently under time constraints Embark on a rewarding career where your physical skills and dedication directly contribute to helping people move forward in their lives.
