Responsibilities Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and other items using appropriate lifting techniques and equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit, utilizing proper wrapping and packing materials Operate commercial vehicles like box trucks or drivers for local or route deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety standards Assist with moving furniture and belongings efficiently within homes, offices, or storage facilities while maintaining excellent customer service Load and unload trucks accurately, verifying inventory against delivery or pickup lists Maintain cleanliness and organization of moving supplies, trucks, and work areas to ensure safety and efficiency Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate routes, schedules, and special handling instructions Requirements Prior experience in warehouse work, moving services, or delivery driving is highly preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is a plus Ability to operate a box truck or similar vehicle with manual transmission confidently Experience with heavy lifting, manual labor, and physical activity required for safe handling of bulky items Familiarity with equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is advantageous but not mandatory; training provided if needed Strong customer service skills to ensure positive interactions during pickups and deliveries Ability to follow safety protocols rigorously while load & unload tasks are performed Reliable route driving skills with attention to detail for timely deliveries This role offers an energetic environment where your physical skills make a real difference!
