In this energetic role, you will assist with loading, unloading, and transporting household or commercial items safely and efficiently. Your enthusiasm and physical stamina will contribute to delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring every move is handled with care and professionalism. This paid position offers a fast-paced environment where teamwork, safety, and positive attitude are key to success. Responsibilities Assist with loading and unloading boxes, furniture, and other items onto trucks using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary. Support the driver in route driving duties, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries while maintaining safety protocols. Help organize and secure items within the truck to prevent damage during transit. Coordinate with team members to execute efficient moves, including heavy lifting and manual handling of bulky or fragile items. Ensure all moving activities comply with safety standards, including proper use of moving equipment like dollies, straps, and manual transmission trucks. Maintain clear communication with customers to confirm move details and address any special handling requests. Assist in the setup and breakdown at both origin and destination locations, ensuring a smooth transition for clients. Skills Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude. Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with moving operations is highly desirable. Experience operating commercial vehicles such as box trucks or courier vans, including route driving responsibilities. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods; physically fit with stamina for demanding tasks. Knowledge of moving equipment like pallet jacks, forklifts, dollies, and straps. Driving experience with manual transmission vehicles preferred; valid driver's license required. Experience as a delivery driver or courier is a plus, demonstrating reliability on route driving schedules. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions precisely in fast-paced environments. Attention to safety procedures when loading/unloading and handling heavy or delicate items.
