Velvet Movers L.L.C. is a professional labor‑only moving company providing high‑quality loading and unloading services for residential and commercial clients. We are expanding our team and seeking reliable, hardworking individuals who take pride in delivering excellent customer service.Position Overview:
As a Moving Technician, you will assist with loading, unloading, furniture protection, and on‑site coordination. This role requires physical strength, professionalism, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team.Responsibilities:
- Safely load and unload household goods and furniture
- Protect items using pads, shrink wrap, and proper handling techniques
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Follow instructions from the Lead Technician or On‑Site Supervisor
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Arrive on time and ready to work each scheduled shift
Requirements:
- Must be 18+ years old
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs repeatedly
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Experience in moving, warehouse, or general labor preferred (not required)
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions
