Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse and Delivery Associate, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer service. You'll be responsible for handling goods safely, load and unload trucks, operating various types of vehicles, and delivering products efficiently to our valued customers. Responsibilities Safely load, unload, and organize products. Operate box trucks or commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws. Execute delivery routes efficiently, ensuring timely drop-offs while adhering to traffic regulations and safety protocols. Manage the loading and unloading process, including heavy lifting and proper weight distribution to prevent injury. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries by maintaining professionalism, addressing inquiries, and ensuring satisfaction. Follow safe lifting practices during warehouse operations and maintain awareness of weight handling standards in the workplace.
Skills Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks. Valid commercial driver's license. Knowledge of DOT regulations, traffic laws, and safety procedures related to commercial driving and heavy lifting. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally during deliveries. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including moving heavy items safely while following proper lifting practices. Be available to work night and weekend hours.
