Tuesday-Saturday schedule 5:30 AM start time — being on time and fully ready to work is mandatory Physically demanding work requiring frequent heavy lifting and team lifting of furniture weighing 400+ lbs Frequent deliveries involving 2nd- and 3rd-floor staircases Loading, unloading, carrying, assembling, and safely placing furniture in customers' homes Maintaining a professional attitude and appearance while providing excellent customer service Being dependable, punctual, respectful, and prepared to work each day A clean background is required for this position We take a great deal of pride in the quality of our work and in providing professional, reliable service with a goal of 100% customer satisfaction on every delivery . Responsibilities Assist with loading, unloading, and securing furniture items in delivery vehicles using proper manual handling techniques Support the driver in navigating routes while adhering to traffic regulations and safety standards Help carry furniture into customers' homes, ensuring careful handling to prevent damage or injury Operate material handling equipment such as dollies to move heavy or bulky items safely Conduct pre-trip inspections of delivery vehicles, including checking for proper functioning of safety features Maintain clear communication with the driver and team members via mobile devices throughout deliveries Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately, on time, and with a focus on customer satisfaction Skills 2 years Previous Furniture Delivery and Furniture Assembly 2 Years Experience with commercial driving, box trucks, or van delivery is highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following safe lifting practices and manual handling protocols Knowledge of DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations related to commercial truck driving and weight handling in the workplace Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or carts confidently Excellent route driving skills with adherence to traffic laws and safety guidelines This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in active environments, enjoy helping others, and take pride in delivering exceptional service.
