Job Description

Job description: Mayker Events is looking for capable and dedicated project leaders to execute high-end events. Weddings in Charleston, Super Bowl parties in New Orleans, Conferences in San Diego, we do it all. Applicants should be competent leaders with the ability to manage teams, communicate kindly and effectively with clients, and solve difficult logistics problems on the fly.
ABOUT THE JOB
Be a project expert
  • Learn everything you can about your assigned projects and be able to answer any question posed about them. Be a team leader
  • Provide direction, encouragement, and a positive work environment. You will set the standard for how delivery members should act and work. Be a teammate
  • have a sense of volunteerism and responsibility to the team at large.
Ensure proper care, packing, and storage of our inventory (high-end, designer furniture) Provide quality control, ensuring proper procedure is followed, and the product delivered is in top condition Direct and assist in truck packing and unloading Interact with clients during on-site set-up, creating a positive brand experience Maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the warehouse Occasional out-of-state and weekend work is required
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants should possess the ability to truly own their events from top to bottom. Be aware, Be responsible, Be responsive, Be cool. Pressure might rise on certain events, and your job will be to keep a clear head and assess the proper next steps. Be able to effectively communicate, both written and verbally, with other employees and upper management. Have excellent planning and organizational skills Current driver's license and a clean driving record Ability and experience driving up to a 26' box truck Ability to carry and move up to 75 lbs. Ideally, will have 1+ years of related experience in the
