Contents and Moving Technician

JOB DUTIES

Comprehensive Content Pack-Outs:

Safely remove, wrap, and transport all categories of contents from affected residential and commercial properties.

Inventory & Site Documentation Support:

Cooperate closely with the site supervisor during the inventory tracking phase. While the Project Manager or Lead overseeing the job site will assist in staging and pacing items to ensure meticulous, error-free documentation.

Secure Transit & Handling:

Execute the careful movement, lifting, and loading of items during the pack-out process. Utilize standard protective materials (blankets, shrink-wrap, structural boxes) to guarantee zero secondary damage or loss occurs during transit from the property to the storage or restoration facility.

Facility Staging & Vaulting:

Assist with unloading vehicles at the storage facility,organizing contents securely within vaults, and tracking warehouse placement.

Post-Loss Site Care:

Maintain a clean, professional, and safe job site environment, respecting the client's property and adhering to all OSHA and company safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Experience:

Experience in professional moving, commercial furniture handling, contents restoration, or warehouse logistics is highly preferred, but not required. We will train motivated candidates.

Physical Capabilities:

Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs regularly, and occasionally heavier items with assistance. Comfort with bending, kneeling, squatting, and standing for extended periods.

Requirements:

Must possess a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Dependable transportation to our local warehouse or designated job sites in the Greater Memphis area.

Compensation / Pay

Rate (Up to): $18.00 - $20.00 Per Hour
