Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking energetic and reliable Movers/Packer to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be the driving force behind smooth relocations and efficient packing operations, ensuring our customers' belongings are handled with care and professionalism. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your physical strength, attention to detail, and customer service skills will shine. You'll play a vital role in helping clients transition seamlessly to their new spaces while maintaining safety and efficiency throughout every move. Responsibilities Safely load, unload, pack, and unpack household or commercial items using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary Assist with disassembly and reassembly of furniture and equipment to facilitate safe transport Operate box trucks or commercial vehicles with manual transmission for local route driving and deliveries Ensure all items are properly secured in trucks to prevent damage during transit Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about move details and addressing any concerns professionally Load and unload trucks efficiently, maintaining a steady workflow during busy periods Maintain cleanliness and organization of moving supplies, trucks, and packing materials Experience Previous warehouse experience or moving experience preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Valid driver's license with experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles; commercial driving experience is a plus Familiarity with delivery driver responsibilities including route driving, load & unload procedures, and customer interactions Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods in various weather conditions Experience using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is advantageous but not mandatory Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude towards clients and team members Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles and courier operations is beneficial Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values hard work, safety, and exceptional service.
