We are a full turnkey provider for our customers, doing everything from Water and Fire Emergency Services, Moving and Storage of Contents, and Textile Cleaning all the way to Reconstruction. Key Responsibilities:
As a Contents Technician , you will be responsible for safely handling, moving, and storing customers' belongings after damage to their property, ensuring everything is properly inventoried, packed, and returned in excellent condition. This role requires a customer-focused attitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in both residential and warehouse environments. In this role, you will also: Maintain clear and effective communication with customers regarding their belongings and any concerns they may have Take a comprehensive digital inventory of all items impacted by damage Carefully pack, label, and organize items to ensure their safety and easy identification Safely wrap furniture and other large items to prevent damage Use dollies and proper lifting techniques to move items from the customer's home into company vehicles for transport to our warehouse Manage the safe storage and organization of items within our warehouse facility Execute the return of items to the customer's home upon completion of reconstruction Adhere to all safety and SERVPRO® production guidelines to ensure a safe and effective work environment Make basic logistical decisions regarding salvage vs. non-salvage items, job completion methods, and efficient truck loading Drive and operate large trucks (preferred but not required)
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Overtime may be required to meet business needs #SPTSField19
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma/GEDValid driver's license Ability to successfully complete a background check (subject to applicable law) Effective oral communication skills Physical ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance Ability to stand, walk, drive, climb, and work at ceiling heights for extended periods Ability to safely navigate ladders and perform repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying tasks
Preferred:
