We welcome candidates of all experience levels — prior moving, warehouse, or labor experience is a plus and encouraged, but not required, as we provide on-the-job training. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, working with a team, and providing excellent customer service. Movers help residential and commercial customers safely pack, load, transport, and unload their belongings. Responsibilities Lift, carry, and load furniture, boxes, and household items onto moving trucks Safely unload and place items in customers' new homes or businesses according to their instructions Wrap and protect furniture and fragile items using moving blankets, shrink wrap, and padding Disassemble and reassemble furniture (beds, tables, shelving units) as needed Operate hand trucks, dollies, and lifting straps to move heavy items efficiently Navigate stairs, doorways, and tight spaces while carrying items Communicate professionally and courteously with customers throughout the move Follow truck loading plans to maximize space and protect items during transport Inspect items for pre-existing damage and report any issues before loading Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment on the truck and at job sites Arrive on time and ready to work each scheduled shift Follow all safety procedures to prevent injury to self, team members, and damage to property Work collaboratively as part of a 2-4 person moving crew
