Mover/Packer

Job Summary Join our dynamic moving and packing team as a Mover/Packer, where your energy and dedication will help clients transition smoothly to their new spaces. In this role, you'll be responsible for safely packing belongings, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring all items are handled with care. Your proactive attitude will contribute to a positive moving experience for our customers, making their relocation stress-free and efficient. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop versatile skills in moving, driving, and customer service while working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Carefully pack household or commercial items using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit Load and unload boxes, furniture, and equipment onto trucks with proper lifting techniques and safety protocols Operate various moving equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, and forklifts when necessary Safely load and secure items in box trucks or other commercial vehicles for delivery or transport Assist with route driving as a courier or delivery driver, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs Collaborate with team members to organize inventory and ensure efficient workflow during moves Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards at all times Skills Strong customer service skills to communicate professionally with clients before, during, and after moves Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with loading/unloading operations Valid commercial driving license with experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles Experience as a delivery driver or courier is highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday Knowledge of moving techniques, including proper handling of furniture and fragile items Familiarity with equipment such as pallet jacks, and manual transmission vehicles is a plus Excellent route driving skills with a focus on safety and punctuality This role is ideal for motivated individuals who thrive in active environments, enjoy helping others during transitions, and are eager to develop their driving and moving expertise.
