In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods and assisting with moving services. The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy lifting and route driving, ensuring that all items are delivered safely and efficiently. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities Safely load and unload items from vehicles using appropriate equipment. Operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, while adhering to all traffic laws. Navigate designated routes for timely deliveries and pickups. Assist customers with packing and moving items as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and warehouse area. Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding delivery schedules and requirements. Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance. Skills Proficient in heavy lifting techniques to handle various sizes of items safely. Experience operating a pallet jack and forklift is preferred. Familiarity with route driving and navigation skills for efficient deliveries. Ability to load and unload goods effectively while minimizing damage. Previous experience in warehouse operations or as a delivery driver is advantageous. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in handling items during moves. Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. Experience as a mover, courier, or van driver is a plus.
