In this role, you will be responsible for transporting furniture and assisting with moving services, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will possess a valid driver's license, have experience lifting heavy objects, and experience operating box trucks or vans. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to handle heavy lifting. Candidate may be asked to operate a forklift at times. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks or vans to transport goods to various locations. Assist with loading and unloading items, ensuring they are secured properly for transport. Navigate efficiently to delivery locations while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups, including any necessary documentation. Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks for moving heavy items when required. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of moving tasks. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation. Experience Previous experience as a delivery driver, mover, or in a warehouse setting is preferred. Familiarity with operating a forklift is a plus but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Experience in heavy lifting and moving techniques to ensure safety and efficiency on the job. Knowledge of courier services or logistics can be beneficial but is not required.
