In this role, you will be responsible for packing, loading, and unloading items efficiently and safely, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely service. Duties Carefully pack items using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit Load and unload furniture, boxes, and equipment onto trucks or storage areas with precision Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks to move heavy or bulky items safely Assist with route driving as a courier or delivery driver, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs Use manual transmission trucks (box trucks) for local deliveries while adhering to safety protocols Collaborate with team members to organize inventory and prepare items for transport or storage Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, trucks, and packing stations Skills Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with clients during moves or deliveries Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with loading/unloading procedures Experience operating commercial vehicles such as box trucks or drivers' licenses preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods Knowledge of moving techniques and proper packing methods to protect belongings Proficiency in driving route trucks and handling delivery schedules efficiently Familiarity with equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual transmission vehicles Excellent physical stamina, coordination, and attention to safety standards This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to build a career in moving, logistics, or delivery services.
