The ideal candidates will be responsible for assisting with the loading and unloading of items, ensuring safe transport, and providing excellent customer service throughout the moving process. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment. Responsibilities Operate box trucks or vans for local and long-distance moves. Drive routes safely and efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Load and unload items carefully to prevent damage during transport. Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks for moving heavy items. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during the moving process. Assist in packing and unpacking items as needed, ensuring all belongings are handled with care. Perform heavy lifting tasks, including carrying bulky or awkwardly shaped items. Maintain cleanliness and organization of moving vehicles and equipment. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving is preferred. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) repeatedly throughout the day. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude towards clients and team members. Previous experience in route driving or as a van driver is advantageous. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety protocols.
