A Mover helps transport furniture and belongings from one place to another. Responsibilities include packing furniture, loading and unloading from vehicles. They may be responsible for driving a vehicle as part of their service, ensuring the safe delivery of client furniture and belongings.
Ararity LLC is seeking a hands-on Downsizing Specialist to actively lead and participate in residential downsizing and clear out projects. This role is physically and operationally involved in sorting, organizing, decluttering, packing, and preparing items for relocation, donation, resale, or disposal while ensuring projects stay on track. The ideal candidate is highly trustworthy, dependable, and able to handle clients' personal belongings with integrity, discretion, and respect.
Key Responsibilities:
Work directly with clients to sort, declutter, and organize belongings Pack and prepare items for moving, shipping, donation, resale, or disposal Create practical downsizing plans tailored to each client's space and goals Manage on-site logistics and daily workflow during downsizing projects Provide compassionate, respectful support during life transitions
Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Physical ability to lift and move boxes and household items Excellent interpersonal and client service skills Ability to work independently and make practical decisions on-site Must have reliable transportation to get to and from jobs Demonstrated trustworthiness, strong ethical standards, and ability to maintain confidentiality Must be able to lift 50 pounds Must pass a background check
Preferred Skills:
2+ years of hands-on experience in downsizing, organizing, moving, or estate transitions 2+ years experience in customer service role
