Job Summary Join our dynamic moving and packing team as a Mover/Packer, where your energy and attention to detail will help clients transition smoothly to their new spaces. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently packing belongings, safely loading and unloading items, and ensuring all possessions are handled with care. Your proactive approach and strong work ethic will contribute to a positive moving experience for every customer. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop versatile skills in moving, packing, and transportation logistics while working in a fast-paced environment. Duties Carefully pack household or commercial items using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit Load and unload trucks with heavy or bulky items, utilizing manual lifting techniques and equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles, including those with manual transmissions, following all traffic laws and safety protocols Assist with route driving and delivery tasks, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs at designated locations Collaborate with team members to organize shipments, verify inventory, and maintain accurate documentation of all items moved Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including packing areas and vehicle interiors Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about move procedures and addressing any concerns professionally Skills Proven experience in warehouse operations, moving, or delivery driving preferred Strong ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly while maintaining proper safety techniques Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks Valid driver's license with experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles; commercial driving experience is a plus Knowledge of route driving and delivery procedures for efficient transportation management Excellent customer service skills to ensure positive interactions during moves or deliveries Ability to follow safety protocols diligently during manual lifting, loading/unloading, and driving tasks This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to build a versatile skill set in moving logistics while providing outstanding service.
