Overview Join our dynamic team as a Mover and play a vital role in ensuring smooth, efficient, and safe transportation of goods and equipment. In this energetic position, you will be responsible for handling items with care, adhering to safety standards, and supporting logistical operations. Your proactive approach will help maintain high levels of service and operational excellence, contributing to the overall success of our moving services. Duties Safely lift, carry, and load items of various sizes and weights according to established procedures Securely transport goods between locations while following safety protocols and traffic regulations Assist with packing, unpacking, and organizing items to prevent damage during transit Maintain accurate records of items moved, including documentation for tracking purposes Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate moving schedules and address any issues promptly Conduct routine inspections of equipment such as dollies, carts, and straps to ensure proper functioning Follow all safety guidelines related to manual handling, vehicle operation, and hazardous materials when applicable Skills Knowledge of safety standards related to manual handling and transportation procedures Strong time management skills to meet moving schedules efficiently Excellent analysis skills for assessing the best methods for loading and securing items Familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) is a plus for moves involving aviation-related equipment or settings Ability to work physically demanding shifts while maintaining attention to detail Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients Adaptability to changing priorities in a fast-paced moving environment This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to contribute their energy and attention to detail in a supportive team setting.
