Starting wages are dependent on experience driving box trucks, moving, and leading crews. Wages range from $23.00 -$28.00 per hour. There are many benefits for drivers in the moving industry. The most enticing is Tips. Tips easily escalate your hourly wage to $30-40 per hour, depending on the amount of tips you receive daily. Therefore, your hourly wage is never your base pay. Movers and or drivers receive daily tips if they are professional and perform well on the job. Customers typically tip anywhere from $20.00-$200.00 per job. Tips have be known to be even more than 200.00 per person, but that depends on the customer's generosity. Weekly gratuity can easily range from $200-$500+ per week, per driver or mover. As mentioned above, tips increase your hourly pay; for example: If you take the base pay of $25.00 per hour and add $200.00 of tips for the week, that would increase your wage to $31.66 per hour for a 30-hour work week. If you received $500.00 in tips for the week at $25.00 per hour, your wage would be $41.66, per hour. Tips make a huge difference in your pay. Driver requirements & duties: Drivers will need a valid license with no driving infractions in the last three years. Drivers can not have any criminal offenses in the past 5 years. Drivers must be able to pass a drug & or alcohol test. This job requires NO CDL, but experience with box trucks or flatbeds (16ft-26ft) is required for this position. However, if you have a perfect driving record and excellent delivery experience, we are open to training the right individuals. Driver's duties are: maintaining trucks and equipment, maintaining daily driver logs, help with moving and loading trucks. Drivers must have basic knowledge of tools and be able to disassemble and assemble furniture items. After working with us for several months, we would like drivers to take a lead role and lead their own crews. Drivers will need great customer service etiquette and eventually learn to collect payments from customers. Drivers are required to fill out all relevant paperwork for each job.

Drivers must hold their weight while working with their prospective teams. Every employee who works at AmericaM Movers will work hard. That means no phones on-site, unless it's an emergency. No! taking extended breaks or more breaks than required by State Law. Our entire team has a blue-collar work ethic, and we'll make sure, you do too by the time you leave AmericaM Movers. Another huge plus with us is attention to detail and problem-solving skills. We love employees who have a keen eye for attention to detail, and it helps tremendously with their tips. So, if you go above and beyond for our customers, that will increase your opportunity for tips. Drivers must have the ability to communicate and work well with their fellow employees. AmericaM employees must always have a great attitude and be professional, while on any job. That means you must always be courteous, respectful, and polite when interacting with customers. Drivers must be willing to take instructions and follow all job duties required by management and or the office. Working with management is vidal for successful jobs and requires great communication to ensure every job is completed as requested. Drivers must be willing to be flexible with their schedules, willing to work on weekends, traveling out of state, and work overtime when required. The best part with AmericaM Is that we are willing to be flexible with you to. You want days off as well or need time off- just give us a two-week notice, and we'll make it happen.

Lead/Movers Requirements:

Mover's base pay depends on experience. Pay ranges from $19.00- $25.00+ per hour. If you have tons of experience in the moving industry and you lead a job or crew than you start at a higher pay grade. But, if you have minimal experience, then we will train you, and you'll need to work your way up the ladder. Movers also receive tips just like drivers' do. Any tips received on any job is split evenly amongst the crew for that day. These tips can range from $20.00-200.00+ per job. Tips depend on your hard work, professionalism, and the customer's generosity. Tips increase your base pay, so if you're making $20 an hour, worked 30 hours, and received $200 in tips for the week. Your base pay was increased to $26.66 per hour. If you made $500.00 in tips for the week, worked 30 hours at $20.00 an hour, your new hourly rate would be $36.66 per hour Movers must have no criminal convictions in the past 5 years. These individuals must be able to lift heavy objects (30 to 100 lbs) repeatedly or use moving equipment to lift these objects. Eventually, movers will be trained and required to learn all job tasks such as packing, unpacking, disassembly and assembly of furniture, moving bulky items, and loading trucks. Movers MUST be willing to take orders and follow instructions from their leads. Movers will learn to communicate and work as a team. Movers will be taught attention to detail when wrapping furniture or packing boxes. Most importantly, movers must be respectful, professional, and polite when around customers. No foul language or inappropriate behavior will be tolerated. And no Drugs are allowed at any time. Any use of drugs while working will be automatic termination, including smoking weed. Movers will have the opportunity to move up within the company and take on Lead roles which increases their pay. If movers choose so, they can be trained to drive our trucks to. ( must be 25 + years or older) with no infractions to drive. Driver & Mover's positions are part-time and or full-time. AmericaM Movers is growing daily. So what does that mean for you?
