Contents Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Contents Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in handling, cleaning, and restoring customers' personal belongings following fire, water, or mold damage. As a Contents Technician, you will play a crucial role in inventorying, packing, transporting, cleaning, and returning contents while maintaining organization and care throughout the restoration process.

Responsibilities:

Inventory, photograph, and document customer contents accurately. Pack, wrap, label, and transport contents to and from cleaning facilities. Identify salvageable versus non-salvageable items. Clean and restore contents using appropriate methods and equipment. Maintain organization and tracking of contents throughout the restoration process. Load and unload contents safely to prevent damage during transport. Communicate effectively with team members and customers. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Adhere to safety regulations and company procedures at all times.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in restoration, cleaning, moving, or a related field is preferred but not required. Ability to handle and care for a wide variety of personal belongings with attention to detail. Strong organizational skills and ability to track and document inventory accurately. Basic computer skills and willingness to learn job management systems. Ability to work in physically demanding environments and lift heavy objects. Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to follow instructions. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team. Physical Requirements Lift up to 30-60 pounds frequently during shift.
