Dallas, TX Job Details 17 hours ago Benefits Health savings account Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Life insurance Qualifications Customer service problem-solving Full Job Description Summary The Assistant Manager is responsible for the working with the Manager in oversight and coordination of the exciting day-to-day airport operations or a segment of the operation. The Assistant Manager must have a passion for ensuring the station's safe, reliable, efficient, and effective operational and financial performance. Responsibilities Complete Audits, seal logs, Airplane paperwork etc. Makes decisions regarding hiring, discipline, and termination, subject to the review of the Regional Manager and Human Resources. Direct and manage daily activities of all cabin and janitorial employees. Promotes quality cabin and janitorial initiatives by conducting inspections; gaining feedback from meetings and identifying and correcting root-causes; enforcing quality and customer service standards; analyzing and resolving quality and customer service issues. Ensure that all work performed under his/her Management is done in a timely and cost-effective manner and in accordance with applicable codes. Establish, implement, and manage schedules and procedures. Ensure that all facilities under his/her responsibility are safe and comply with all federal, state, and local laws. Manages inventories supplies and equipment. Investigates and implements new and improved cleaning instruments and methods. Develops, proposes, and manages Special Projects and other related duties as requested and needed.
Qualifications:
Four+ years of relevant experience. Relevant supervisory experience. Strong problem-solving skills. Excellent customer service skills Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Must possess a Government ID and social security card. Must be able to obtain and keep an airport security badge. Must have or be able to attain reliable transportation. Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces Able to receive appropriate security clearances after satisfactory completion of a criminal background check. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to work extended hours depending on operational needs. Must be able to work in cramped or high places. Must be able to carry heavy items up and down jet way stairs.
