The Technical Trainer is responsible for developing, conducting, and documenting training curricula / programs to ensure all maintenance, inspection, and alteration personnel are qualified and capable of performing their assigned duties. This position is contingent on successful contract award to V2X.
Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain training curricula and programs for maintenance and inspection personnel. Conduct training sessions and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards. Document all training activities and maintain accurate training records. Assess personnel qualifications and provide remedial training as needed. Collaborate with supervisors to identify training needs and implement solutions. Work Conditions Contingent upon contract award. Primarily office / production-support setting with frequent interaction with multiple departments and shared services.
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required. Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance and inspection. Experience in developing and delivering technical training programs. Strong knowledge of FARs, QCM, and maintenance procedures. Excellent communication and instructional skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with rotary-wing aircraft. Prior work in a military or government aviation environment. Certification in instructional design or adult learning principles.
Skills & Competencies:
Excellent communication and customer service; able to coordinate across multiple teams and disciplines. Detail oriented with high accuracy in data entry and documentation. Strong organizational, time management and follow up skills. Able to prioritize competing demands.
Training & Certifications:
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate (required). FAA regulatory / compliance training (preferred). Production control / logistics certification (e.g., APICS / CPIM, or equivalent) (preferred). OSHA 10 or Safety training (preferred).
Clearance Requirement:
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance as required by the contract (Public Trust or Secret level, as applicable).
