Overview Join our dynamic aviation team as a Certified Flight Instructor - CFII, where your passion for flying and teaching will inspire the next generation of pilots. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive flight instruction to student pilots seeking Certified Flight Instructor - CFII certification, focusing on advanced maneuvers and instrument training. Develop and refine tailored curricula that align with FAA standards and individual student needs, incorporating effective teaching methods and communication skills. Conduct ground school sessions covering topics such as aircraft systems, aerodynamics, Federal Aviation Regulations, and emergency procedures. Evaluate student progress through practical flight assessments, providing constructive feedback to enhance their skills and confidence. Maintain detailed records of training activities, flight hours, and student performance in compliance with regulatory requirements. Assist students in preparing for FAA checkrides by simulating exam scenarios and reviewing key concepts. Stay current with industry developments, including aircraft maintenance procedures, airframe technology, and updates to aviation regulations to ensure accurate instruction. Qualifications Valid Certified Flight Instructor - CFII certificate issued by the FAA with appropriate ratings for multi-engine or other specialized aircraft as applicable. Extensive flying experience with a strong understanding of airframe systems and aircraft maintenance fundamentals. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development tailored to diverse learning styles and multilingual audiences. Deep knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), aviation safety standards, and best practices for flight instruction. Proven ability to communicate complex concepts clearly through effective teaching and public speaking skills. Experience working with students at various skill levels, including those from military backgrounds or with classroom experience in aviation education.
