Job Description

Job Overview Chicago Executive Flight School is a rapidly growing flight school and looking for Full and Part Time Flight Instructors to join our Family. Chicago Executive Flight School has been providing top level flight instruction to the Chicago area since 1992. We are looking for Certified Flight Instructors who strive for excellence and are motivated by our thriving performance-driven culture. Responsibilities Conduct ground school sessions to educate students on aviation theory, regulations, and safety protocols. Provide in-flight instruction to students, guiding them through practical applications of flying techniques. Develop lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and learning styles. Assess student progress through evaluations and provide constructive feedback for improvement. Ensure compliance with all Federal Aviation Regulations during training sessions. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance. Qualifications Must be able to safely operate a Cessna 150 while meeting the required weight and height limitations for safe flight operations (maximum 180 lbs and under 6 feet in height) Valid Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certificate issued by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or relevant authority Extensive knowledge of aircraft systems, airframe mechanics, and aviation safety standards Strong understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) related to flight training and certification processes Excellent communication skills with the ability to teach complex concepts clearly and engagingly Ability to deliver public speaking engagements confidently in both classroom and one-on-one settings Prior experience in aircraft maintenance or technical roles is advantageous but not required
