Job Description

Flight Training & NextGen Aviation Workforce Program Flight Expo, Inc. is seeking passionate FAA Certified Flight Instructor and a Certified Ground Instructor to help grow aviation education in Central Minnesota. This is more than just a flying job. We are building the next generation of pilots, mechanics, and aviation professionals through hands on education, mentorship, and real world aviation experiences.
Our programs include:
Private Pilot flight training Discovery flights Youth aviation education Build A Plane hands on programs NextGen Aviation Maintenance pathway program FAA Ground School instruction Career exploration and workforce development We work with high school students, adult learners, community partners, and aviation enthusiasts to create affordable pathways into aviation careers. Position Responsibilities Flight Instructor Duties Provide Part 61/141 flight instruction Conduct preflight and post flight briefings Help students prepare for written exams and check rides Maintain accurate training records Promote safe flight operations and professionalism Mentor youth and adult aviation students Ground Instructor Duties Teach FAA Certified Ground School curriculum Teach aviation maintenance education fundamentals Help students prepare for FAA written examinations Support classroom and hands on aviation learning Encourage teamwork, leadership, and aviation career development Qualifications FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFII) FAA Ground Instructor Certificate (AGI or IGI) Passion for teaching and mentoring Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to work with youth and adult students Positive attitude and team mindset Bonus Experience A&P experience Aviation maintenance background Part 141 experience Youth program instruction STEM or workforce development experience Why Join Flight Expo?
