Summary of Position:

Instruct helicopter type ratings, recurrent flight training and special flight courses for AWTA in accordance with the relative syllabus, in a timely and professional manner. Participate on the development of new training courses and ensure a high level of paperwork and record keeping. Occasionally deliver the courses off site. 2.

% of Time 1. Deliver Pilot Type Rating and Recurrent Flight courses 70 2. Deliver other training courses as applicable 10 3. Study and train as needed to remain current as an instructor (and Examiner) pilot him/herself, remaining informed and up-to-date on the latest standards, procedures and regulations as applicable 5 4. Be responsible to complete all required training paperwork in a timely and accurate fashion 5 5. Assist in the ongoing development of AWTA curriculum, products and services 4 6. Maintain and update training materials and publications. 3 7. Perform other duties and fulfill other responsibilities as assigned 3 10.

Position:

A. Education Commercial Rotorcraft Helicopter Certificate with Instrument Rating. 3000+ hrs Total Flight Time. CFI required CFII preferred. B. Experience A minimum of 5 years experience performing helicopter instruction and/or flying. C. Competencies & Attributes 1. Instructor and/or examiner back ground in helicopters 2. Rotorcraft Helicopter Certificate 3. Strong IFR experience and knowledge 4. Excellent interpersonal communications skills and MS Office knowledge. D.
