Academy Aviation Maintenance Training USA (AAMT) & Academy 147 Part of the Academy Aviation Group We are expanding our rotary-wing training portfolio, and we are looking for a highly experienced Senior Technical Training Instructor with deep expertise in Leonardo

helicopters. If you're passionate about helicopter maintenance, enjoy working with people, and want to turn your hard-won experience into a global impact, this is the perfect role for you. What You'll Do Deliver online and in-person maintenance type training on

systems, components, instrumentation, troubleshooting, and airworthiness.
Conduct hands-on practical instruction in hangar environments where required.
Assess student performance in both theoretical and practical environments.
Collaborate with the curriculum team and serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for course development and updates.
Complete training records and documentation in accordance with AAMT quality standards.
Travel domestically and internationally to customer locations for on-site training. Requirements
Who We're Looking For A confident, knowledgeable helicopter maintenance specialist who excels in technical work and enjoys mentoring others. Required Background 10+ years of aircraft/helicopter maintenance experience. Strong background in line, base, or AOG troubleshooting.
Formal training and hands-on experience on one or more Leonardo helicopter types:

Maintenance certifying privileges—
A&P, EASA
B1/B2, or equivalent.
Preferred / Nice
-to-Have Experience Experience on the following platforms is highly desirable: Bell (412, 429, 407, etc.) Sikorsky (S-76, S-92)
Airbus Helicopters (H135, H145, etc Additional advantages: Previous instructional or technical training experience (not required—AAMT provides comprehensive instructor development).
