Job Description
REACH Medical Holdings seeks a skilled Helicopter Pilot to support REACH Air Medical Services' emergency air medical transport operations. In this healthcare-focused Transportation & Logistics role, you will safely operate helicopters for critical care flights, ensuring rapid response to medical and rescue emergencies. Working closely with flight nurses, paramedics, and dispatch, you'll conduct thorough preflight planning, weather evaluation, and aircraft inspections while strictly adhering to FAA, company, and safety-first procedures. Responsibilities Safely operate helicopters for emergency air medical transport missions Perform preflight, in-flight, and postflight checks and documentation Evaluate weather, routes, and performance to ensure safe mission decisions Comply with all FAA, company, and safety management system requirements Coordinate closely with flight nurses, paramedics, and dispatch teams Maintain aircraft readiness and report maintenance concerns promptly Participate in ongoing training, simulations, and safety briefings Support a safety-first, patient-centered culture during all operations Required Skills Helicopter flight operations (VFR/IFR) Air medical/HEMS operations Aviation weather interpretation and decision-making FAA regulations and SMS compliance Night and low-visibility flight skills Navigation systems and avionics proficiency Crew resource management (CRM) Emergency and abnormal procedure handling Flight planning and performance calculations Radio communication and ATC coordination
