$24-26/hour, DOE The Planet Group is looking for a Chemistry UAS Pilot 1 to join our well-known Fortune 500 client on a 12-months contract, working an onsite/hybrid schedule from Jackson, MI. UAS Pilot 1 |
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED and FAA Part 107 License Required. Associate's degree in aviation, engineering, or a related field preferred. Basic knowledge of UAS operation and maintenance. Ability to interpret and follow flight plans. Strong attention to detail for data collection and reporting. Good communication skills for reporting findings to supervisors. Basic understanding of safety and regulatory compliance. UAS Pilot 1 |
Responsibilities:
Conduct BVLOS drone-in-a-box operations from our Drone Operations Center. Operate UAS for routine inspections of utility infrastructure such as power lines, pipelines, and substations. Conduct pre-flight checks and ensure all equipment is in working order. Collect and report data on infrastructure conditions. Assist in maintaining UAS equipment and performing minor repairs. Follow safety protocols and regulatory requirements during operations.
