Texas Job Purpose:
This King Air 90 Captain role exists to provide single-pilot expertise to our Sterile Insect Technique (SIT) Operations based out of Texas and to meet company requirements and customer needs.
Responsibilities:
Pilot the King Air 90 as a single pilot Captain in a safe and professional manner Be familiar with destination, alternate airports, actual and forecasted meteorological conditions, fuel and oil requirements, navigation and radio aids, and applicable NOTAMs Ensure completion of pre- and post-flight inspection of the aircraft before and after each mission Fly accurately in relation to mission criteria Communicate effectively with base manager, customer, and system operations center Complete daily, weekly or monthly digital reports (maintenance records, timesheets, etc.) in an accurate and timely manner Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
FAA Commercial / Instrument / Multi-Engine license 1,200 hours total time 250 hours as pilot-in-command 50 hours night flying 50 hours of instrument, 5 hours must be in actual instrument weather 100 hours of the stated flight time must have occurred in the past 12 months 100 hours multi-engine time as pilot-in-command (if multi-engine aircraft are used) 25 hours pilot-in-command time in the make and model (Beechcraft King Air) of the aircraft to be used, at least 10 hours of which must have been acquired within the preceding 12 calendar months (preferred) Ability to operate the electronic guidance system Possess at least a 2nd class medical Relocation to Texas required Ability to work as a team member Fluency in Spanish (preferred) Prior cross-cultural and foreign language experience (preferred) It is the policy of Dynamic Aviation to prohibit and eliminate discrimination on grounds of race, color, religion, sex, (including pregnancy, childbirth or related medical conditions), sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, ancestry, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or any other characteristics protected by law.
