3-plus years of experience driving box trucks or equivalent Maintain a valid Arizona Driver's License and must have a clean driving record (able to pass the DOT assessment) Ability to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and driving laws Proficient communication, interpersonal, organizational, and social awareness skills Ability to use a phone, computer, printer, copier, and other standard office machinery. Frequent use of Microsoft Office products and web-based software Certified forklift operator a plus Bilingual/Spanish a plus Maintain a valid Arizona Driver's License and must have a clean driving record Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
Physical Demands:

Full-time 40 hours per week nonexempt; eligible for paid time off; eligible for benefits BFOQ (Bona Fide Occupational Qualification) Faith aligned Reports to: Donations Center Manager Starting rate of pay: $ 15.15 Responsibilities & Duties The Donations Center Specialist serves as a frontline ambassador of Gospel Rescue Mission (GRM) and is often a donor's first impression of our ministry. This role supports daily donations operations through safe and efficient box truck driving, donor interaction, receipting and documentation, sorting and organizing donated goods, and maintaining a clean, safe Donations Center environment. The Specialist demonstrates Christ-like customer service, treats all individuals with dignity and respect, and supports GRM's mission through professional, timely, and service-oriented work. Driving and Donations Center Services Receive daily pickup/delivery schedule from the Donations Center Manager; complete scheduled vendor and donation pickups and unload items Drive, load, and operate a box truck safely and efficiently following assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and driving laws Receipt donors and submit receipts, logs, counts, and paperwork accurately and on time. Use technologies (cell phone, email, computer, GPS & maps) effectively Lift/move/sort furniture, food, clothing, etc. Lift, move, sort, organize, and store donated goods (furniture, food, clothing, etc.) on the truck and within the Donations Center. Deliver donations to other agencies, churches, other GRM centers, or guest(s) as needed Move/count/manage Donations Center inventory Work collaboratively with volunteers and helpers to load, move, and store items safely and efficiently Utilize good public relations with volunteers, donors, the public, staff, and outside persons Complete accurate paperwork, receipting, counts, and logs Maintain and clean trucks and the Donations Center Oversee and train shelter/recovery guests and/or volunteers on truck duties and safe handling practices as assigned Report all vehicle issues and concerns to Donations Center Manager and be available for necessary response, i.e. take to an automotive shop, etc. Provide routine maintenance and assure cleaning of all GRM vehicles as deemed necessary Receive and make donor/vendor calls as needed; support donor communication and logistics Assist with the pickup and delivery of inner-center mail to appropriate locations as needed Maintain Donations Center cell phone in good working order. Complete dump runs as scheduled or deemed necessary Record and report outcomes of GRM outreach efforts as outlined in department playbook Perform other duties as assigned

Ability to interact comfortably and respectfully with GRM leadership, donors, business partners, church partners, volunteers, guests, and community members from diverse backgrounds—representing GRM with excellence and Christ-like service Proven ability to safely operate a box truck, follow assigned routes and schedules and GRM safety procedures Clear, courteous verbal and written communication skills; able to represent GRM professionally in person, by phone, text/email, and through accurate documentation Ability to organize donations, maintain inventory awareness, and support counting, sorting, and storage processes; forklift experience/certification a plus Ability to convey a high degree of commitment and passion for GRM Professional Development Satisfy all pieces of training as assigned by the manager (onboarding, basic training, OPPD, etc.) Attend staff meetings as directed Perform other duties as assigned Gospel Rescue Mission is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit religious organization that provides social service programs to the homeless and working poor populations.
