This role is essential in ensuring accurate, efficient, and friendly service for all takeout and delivery customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong time management skills and the ability to navigate effectively in a variety of environments. Responsibilities Safely operate your delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products, ensuring items are secured and protected during transit. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any issues encountered. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and timely preparation Package and organize orders for pickup and delivery Manage third-party delivery platforms (Uber Eats, DoorDash, etc.) Ensure all orders are complete, properly labeled, and ready on time Maintain a clean and organized takeout area Assist with general restaurant duties as needed (restocking, light cleaning, etc.) Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns professionally. Must be able to take orders over the phone and become proficient in the use of a POS system. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred but not required. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to lift moderately heavy packages (up to 30 pounds) and perform physical tasks as needed. Familiarity with GPS devices or navigation apps for route planning is a plus.
