Job Overview Position Summary:

The Transportation Driver is responsible for safely transporting children from school to the OneSource Learning & Development Center and ensuring clients are transported to and from scheduled appointments, including medical visits and court appearances. This role is critical in supporting program access, safety, and overall service delivery. Duties Safely pick up children from designated schools and transport them to the OneSource facility in a timely and efficient manner Ensure safe drop-off of children at the facility and, when applicable, transport them home or to approved locations Transport clients to and from medical appointments, court appearances, and other approved service-related destinations Maintain strict adherence to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and organizational transportation policies Conduct daily vehicle inspections (pre-trip and post-trip) to ensure vehicles are safe, clean, and properly maintained Maintain accurate transportation logs, mileage records, and incident reports as required Ensure all passengers are properly secured with seat belts or appropriate safety restraints Provide a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all children and clients during transport Communicate effectively with program staff, parents/guardians, and supervisors regarding schedules, delays, or concerns Monitor passenger behavior and report any incidents or concerns to appropriate staff Assist children and clients with entering and exiting the vehicle when needed, ensuring safety at all times Follow confidentiality guidelines when transporting clients, especially regarding sensitive appointments (e.g., medical or legal) Respond appropriately to emergencies or unexpected situations, including following emergency protocols Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle at all times Support program operations by adjusting routes or schedules as needed Skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Experience transporting children or vulnerable populations preferred Ability to pass background checks and drug screening CPR/First Aid/AED certification (or willingness to obtain) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Good communication skills for coordinating with dispatch teams and customers

Pay:

$12.00 - $17.00 per hour
