PACE Program Transportation Driver (Full-Time & Part-Time positions)Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hourSchedule:
Full-Time / Part-Time positions available (Monday-Friday, occasional weekends as needed)Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Transportation Driver to join our PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) team. This role is responsible for safely transporting participants to and from the PACE center, medical appointments, and other approved locations, while ensuring a comfortable and respectful experience for all passengers.Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate company vehicles to transport participants according to assigned schedules and routes Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle, including those with mobility challenges or assistive devices Ensure all passengers are secured properly (wheelchairs, seat belts, etc.) Maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning vehicle; perform routine inspections and report maintenance needs Communicate effectively with dispatch and PACE staff regarding schedule changes or participant concerns Provide excellent customer service with a focus on dignity, patience, and respect Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policiesQualifications:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Experience driving vans or transporting passengers preferred Ability to assist elderly or disabled individuals with mobility needs Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and driving record check CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferredPhysical Requirements:
Ability to lift, push, and secure wheelchairs (up to 50 lbs) Prolonged periods of sitting, driving, and assisting passengersBenefits:
