Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a reliable, motivated, and experienced Recovery Assistant to join a dedicated, client-directed care team in Saint Paul, MN. This role focuses on implementing a structured daily physical recovery routine for an individual with a quadriplegic spinal cord injury. You will be working directly under the budget model of Community First Services and Supports (CFSS), where the client acts as the direct employer.
Shift & Hours:
Daily Morning Shift (All Days): 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM Required Monday & Thursday Split (Evening Shift): Must return to clock back in from 3:30 PM - 9:00 PM (Totaling 11 hours for both Monday and Thursday).
Key Responsibilities:
Physical Recovery Support:
Assist with intensive daily recovery protocols during both blocks, including safe transfers, range of motion (ROM) exercises, and assisting with structured standing chair sessions.
Personal Care:
Provide assistance with daily living activities (ADLs) as required during the morning and evening routines.
Schedule & Task Adherence:
Follow a specific, goal-oriented daily schedule designed to maximize physical recovery milestones. Strictly adhere to the split-shift clock-in/clock-out times on designated days.
Qualifications:
Required:
Direct, hands-on experience working with individuals who have a quadriplegic spinal cord injury.
Required:
Strong physical capability to assist with transfers and specialized mobility equipment (e.g., standing chairs, power wheelchairs).
Attributes:
Dependable, punctual, respectful of a home-based professional environment, and capable of taking direct instruction from the client. Must pass standard background checks required by the CFSS financial management provider (PICS).
Pay:
$23.34 per hour Application Question(s): Best position choirs direct, hands on experience with Quadriplegic spinal cord injuries. Do you have professional or Primary Care given experience specifically with quadriplegic clients? This role requires a daily morning shift 9:00 a.m. To 2:30 p.m. And a mandatory even split shift on Mondays and Thursdays 3:30 p.m. To 9:00 p.m. For a total of 11 hours on those 2 days are you completely able and willing to commit to the Pacific split shift schedule? Are you willing to undergo a standard background check in accordance with local law and cfss/pics provider regulations?? Because this world involves intensive fiscal recovery routines, actuality and absolute reliability critical. Have you ever had unscued abscesses or short notice call loss for your last caregiving role? Please provide the names phone numbers and relationships of two professional references such as previous clients care agencies or supervisors who can verify your caregiving experience and a reliability
