Job Summary Join our dynamic transportation team as a Cab Driver, where your enthusiasm and dedication will drive us forward! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for providing safe, reliable, and friendly transportation services to our valued customers. Your expertise in navigating local routes, maintaining vehicle excellence, and delivering exceptional customer service will ensure every ride is a positive experience. Whether day or night, your commitment to adhering to traffic regulations and maintaining vehicle cleanliness will keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently. Duties Safely operate vehicles such as taxis, limousines, or paratransit vans along designated local routes and during night shifts. Utilize GPS navigation systems to efficiently plan and follow optimal routes, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs. Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, luggage handling, and addressing inquiries professionally. Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle to ensure safety and comfort for all passengers. Process cash transactions accurately when handling fare payments and issue receipts as needed. Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to guarantee passenger safety at all times. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns. Qualifications Proven experience in taxi driving, delivery driving, bus driving, or commercial driving roles with a strong focus on customer service. Proficiency in GPS navigation tools and familiarity with local driving routes. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and the ability to perform basic upkeep tasks. Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., commercial license if required). Demonstrated ability to adhere to traffic regulations and safety standards consistently. Experience with night driving shifts preferred for flexibility in scheduling. Strong communication skills with a friendly attitude towards passengers. $22.59 - $27.21 per hour
