Direct Service Provider - Overnight Mountain Area Community Services (MACS) Arden, NC Job Details Part-time $18 - $20 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Paid training Qualifications Patient transfer methods Simple food item preparation High school diploma or GED Driver's License Food preparation Meal assistance Full Job Description This position would be providing periodic overnight services for an active young adult male with physical, cognitive and behavioral disabilities. The right candidate will be physically fit, mentally quick, and a skilled, safe driver. Smoking is not allowed on-site or at the workplace. Pay range is $18 - $20 per hour with increments in pay of $.50/hour to be made every six months for the first two years. Requirements High school Diploma, GED or Equivalent Valid Driver's License with Current Vehicle insurance Experience with meal preparation (not microwave meals) Clean driving record Excellent social, problem solving and communication skills Must be physically strong and mentally engaging Must be accustomed to high level of activity Must be able to be comfortable with transfers and lifting Must be able to be physically fit to assist with physical transfers To help offer you the tools to succeed, MACS offers paid training such as CPR & First Aid, NCI and more!!
