This flexible role is ideal for someone who enjoys driving, providing exceptional customer service, and building positive relationships with older adults. The primary scheduled day is Tuesday, with additional on-call opportunities available to support resident transportation needs. Position Summary:
The Transportation Associate is responsible for safely transporting residents, staff, and materials as needed, supporting the daily operations of our community. This role ensures punctuality, safety, and a positive experience for all passengers.
Key Responsibilities:
Transport residents to and from appointments, activities, and other destinations in a safe and timely manner. Assist residents with mobility and boarding as needed. Maintain assigned vehicles, ensuring cleanliness, fuel levels, and general upkeep. Report any vehicle maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly. Follow all traffic laws, organizational policies, and safety protocols. Support team members and assist with other duties as requested.
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Experience operating passenger vans or similar vehicles preferred. Ability to safely assist individuals with mobility challenges. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, bend, and assist residents when necessary. Comfortable spending extended periods driving and being on your feet. What's in it for you?
