Overview Join our team as a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver Attendance Coordinator! In this vital role, you will ensure the punctuality and reliability of our transportation services by monitoring driver schedules, attendance, and adherence to safety protocols. Your energetic approach will help maintain smooth operations, support our drivers, and enhance the experience for our clients who depend on safe, timely medical transportation. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be a key part of a dynamic transportation team dedicated to community health and mobility. Duties Track and monitor driver attendance to ensure all scheduled transportation services are covered and executed on time Communicate proactively with drivers to confirm schedules, address delays, or resolve attendance issues Maintain accurate records of driver hours, absences, and shift changes in compliance with company policies and state transportation regulations Collaborate with dispatchers and management to adjust routes or schedules as needed for operational efficiency Support drivers with logistical coordination, including vehicle assignments and route planning using GPS navigation tools Assist in ensuring all drivers adhere to traffic laws, safety standards, and passenger care protocols during their shifts Facilitate communication between drivers, clients, and healthcare providers to promote excellent customer service and client satisfaction Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or shuttle driver with strong knowledge of local driving routes Experience operating passenger vans, shuttle buses, or medical transportation vehicles such as paratransit or chauffeur-driven limousines Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for route optimization and real-time tracking Ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary for vehicle maintenance or loading equipment Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination Knowledge of state transportation regulations and safety standards for commercial driving and passenger vehicles Strong organizational skills to manage driver schedules, attendance records, and compliance documentation Basic vehicle maintenance awareness to identify issues that may impact safety or service quality This role is perfect for motivated individuals with a passion for safe driving, excellent customer service, and operational support.
