NEMT Stretcher, wheelchair

Mare Transportation INC is a non-emergency Stretcher, wheelchair & ambulatory transportation provider, servicing the Greater Richmond and surrounding areas. We cater all of Virginia. We assist handicapped, disabled and elderly patients to their appointments and home. We are searching for professional drivers who are dedicated, punctual, courteous and have a flexible schedule. There is currently full-time, Part time and Floating positions available. We provide drivers with a company owned vehicle. Our drivers are responsible for ensuring they meet up with the owner for regular vehicle maintenance, and car wash services. Typical work day for NEMT Drivers varies as we are a demand based company. We travel outside of Richmond and shifts will vary each day at a minimum of 9-10 hours.

Age requirement:

23 years of age or older. Able to pass DMV Motor Vehicle Record screening, background screening, and drug test screening upon hiring. Responsibilities Drive safely in various weather conditions Navigate a variety of routes throughout the city while adhering to a time schedule Load and unload patients via Ambulatory and Wheelchair Maintain company vehicle and company equipment Clean and sanitize Van after every use (PPE gear may be provided) Able to operate iPad with routing software Qualifications Exceptional customer service skills Safe driving record (Required) Valid Driver's License (no DUI's, no license suspension) Capable of securing Wheelchair clients up to 300 lbs Ability to work well under little to no supervision Must be able to pass Background Check(No major Barrier Crimes)

MUST BE MODIVCARE PAST CERTIFIED/ CERTIFICATE MUST BE CURRENT

Schedule:

Monday through Friday. Weekends optional
