About PKL Services Inc. PKL Services Inc. is contracted to maintain and operate Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) F-15SG and United States Air Force (USAF) F-15E aircraft and equipment assigned to the 366th Fighter Wing located at Mountain Home AFB (MHAFB), Idaho. PKL employees at this site are subject to a Union/Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) regarding employment terms and work rules. The Aircrew Flight Equipment (AFE) Technician is responsible for issuing, inspecting, maintaining, testing, and adjusting aircrew flight equipment.
Other key responsibilities include:
1. Perform in-shop quality control inspections and other types of aircrew life support system inspections IAW AFMAN 11-301VI. 2.
Possess ability to conduct in-process inspections and other types of Aircrew Flight Equipment systems inspections. 3. Provide initial and recurring AFE-related instruction for aircrew. 4. Maintain instructor certifications and conduct instruction in aircrew training requirements IAW AFMAN 301V1, AFI
16-1301, and LL-06. 5.
Write lesson plans as required to meet specific RSAF training differences. 6. Issue, fit, inspect, test, maintain, train and instruct maintenance on aircrew flight equipment: flight suits, anti-G suits, life preservers, HGU-55A/P JHMCS helmets, HGU-55/P flying helmet, MBU-20/P oxygen masks, and NVGs. 7. Must be proficient on various types of test equipment to conduct reliability testing on AFE:

Night Vision Tester68. 8. Utilize and update computer systems, Flight Equipment Records Management Systems (FERMS or AFERMS/DPAS
). 9. Participate in unit, group and wing ancillary programs related to AFE. 10. Assist RSAF to establish and maintain all AFE programs: Technician Training program, composite tool kit (CTK), Red X program, TMDE program, safety program, weapons safety program, vehicle program, hazardous materials program, and shop file plans. 11. Perform duties as defined by applicable Air Force Instructions (AFIs), along with any USAF like functions typically performed within the associated 1P0X1 career field. 12. Any and all other duties as directed by the Program Manager/Site Manager. About you We'd love to hear from you if you have…. High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Prior qualified/certified 7-level Aircrew Flight Equipment technician with a minimum of six (6) years' experience. Graduate of the Aircrew Flight Equipment (AFSC 1P0X1), Aircrew Life Support (AFSC 1T1X1) and/or Survival Equipment (AFSC 2A7X4) technical training courses and/or sister-service equivalents. Proficiency utilizing various types of test equipment to conduct reliability testing on aircrew flight equipment. Experience handling low explosive items and prior explosives safety training. Prior F-15 experience highly desirable. Must be able to obtain and retain a Secret security clearance. $38.42 per hr. Health & Welfare benefit of $7.00 per hour Shift differential pay for 2nd & 3rd shifts. This position requires normal physical functions. Must be able to pass an annual eye exam for visual acuity and have 20/20 correctable vision. Work may require frequent bending, reaching, and climbing. May frequently lift and carry items weighing up to fifty pounds and occasionally lift heavier items with the assistance of other workers. Normal color/depth perception and no record of emotional instability are required. May be required to work in areas in or near a hangar/ flight line that may be noisy at times. May be exposed to moderate discomforts, such as heat, cold and wind. May be required to wear personal protective equipment when in or passing thru a hazardous area.
