Training Programs Role Player (1099 Independent Sub-Contractor Position) Overview Looking for a flexible, hands-on role with no prior experience required? General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is hiring Training Role Players to support interactive, scenario-based exercises across Southeastern Virginia. This role is ideal for individuals interested in gaining real-world experience in training, simulation, or government support environments.
  • What You'll Do
  • Participate in realistic training scenarios as a role player
  • Follow scripts and instructions to support training objectives
  • Engage in light improvisation to enhance realism
  • Observe exercises and assist in creating immersive environments
  • Provide feedback during post-exercise debriefs
  • Maintain professionalism and adhere to safety guidelines
  • No Experience Required
  • Paid Initial Training Class provided
  • No background in military, law enforcement, or acting required
  • Great opportunity for entry-level candidates
  • Requirements
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Valid U.S. driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods
  • Willingness to follow directions and learn basic navigation skills
  • Availability for flexible, part-time work
  • Must be able to work as a 1099 independent contractor
  • Security Clearance
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance (sponsorship provided)
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience in acting, improv, customer service, or team-based roles
  • Interest in training, simulation, or government programs
  • Work Environment
  • In-person role (not remote)
  • Field-based locations throughout Southeastern Virginia
