Training Programs Role Player (1099 Independent Sub-Contractor Position) Overview Looking for a flexible, hands-on role with no prior experience required? General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is hiring Training Role Players to support interactive, scenario-based exercises across Southeastern Virginia. This role is ideal for individuals interested in gaining real-world experience in training, simulation, or government support environments.
- What You'll Do
- Participate in realistic training scenarios as a role player
- Follow scripts and instructions to support training objectives
- Engage in light improvisation to enhance realism
- Observe exercises and assist in creating immersive environments
- Provide feedback during post-exercise debriefs
- Maintain professionalism and adhere to safety guidelines
- No Experience Required
- Paid Initial Training Class provided
- No background in military, law enforcement, or acting required
- Great opportunity for entry-level candidates
- Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid U.S. driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods
- Willingness to follow directions and learn basic navigation skills
- Availability for flexible, part-time work
- Must be able to work as a 1099 independent contractor
- Security Clearance
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance (sponsorship provided)
- Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in acting, improv, customer service, or team-based roles
- Interest in training, simulation, or government programs
- Work Environment
- In-person role (not remote)
- Field-based locations throughout Southeastern Virginia
